Professional Qualifications
The Birth Care Staffing Registered Nurse must meet these requirements:

Three (3) years of L&D or SCN experience with the last year being current.
Clear criminal back ground check
Negative drug test
Registered Nurse (RN) license by the State of Illinois
Excellent supervisory and professional references
Current CPR & NRP certification
Physical Health Statement
TB Skin test yearly
(chest x-ray for those with positive Mantoux)
OSHA in-service yearly
(provided by Birth Care Staffing)
Hepatitis B series immunization
Rubella, Mumps, Rubeola and Varicella titers
(Titers are mandatory for all nurses who
work in Maternal-Child areas.)
