SCHOLARSHIPS

Waubonsee Community College
Birth Care Staffing is involved in scholarships at the local community college to promote education and assist our youth to accomplish their dreams.

NICK WIRTH FIRE SCIENCE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP is awarded to a new or returning Waubonsee Community College student who is majoring in fire science.  It was established in memory of Nick Wirth by his mother, Patty Wirth, and numerous family, friends and community members.  Nick Wirth was a Waubonsee student who died in his sophomore year in 2007.

BIRTH CARE STAFFING SPECIALISTS, INC. NURSING SCHOLARSHIP was established in 2006 by owner Patty Wirth, who is a labor and delivery room nurse.  It is awarded to a returning student who has completed the first year of the Waubonsee Community College nursing program and is 30 years of age or younger.
